MY TIME IN COLLEGE AND WORKING FOR 2 FORTUNE 500 COMPANIES
I graduated Texas Christian University with a bachelor's degree in Business Marketing in May 2019. During my time at TCU, the biggest achievement was starting UNICEF TCU which is a non-profit organization that fights for the protection of children in over 190 countries. I recruited over 100 members and stabilized an executive board of directors to oversee all operations of the club (marketing, supply chain, and finance). In the end, the club raised over $1,000 for children in developing countries. When it comes to my professional experience, I had the privilege of interning for Nestle Skin Health where I primarily focused on innovation and brand management, giving me the opportunity of working closely with a very talented and exceptional leader, Nicole Cartman (Senior Brand Manager, Cetaphil Innovation). Interning for Nestle Skin Health has changed my life altogether, not only do I have a clear understanding of how a Pharmaceutical Industry works, but have gained fundamental skills that I will be able to implement in my future employment. Recently, I just finished up the AT&T B2B Sales Development Program where I was an Account Executive for 4 months. With my role, I was able to acquire new business for AT&T, making the company an annual revenue of over $10,000. I learned essential skills during my time working there, including prospecting, qualifying, and consultative skills.
BRAND MANAGEMENT & INNOVATION
I came up with this idea when I was in a coffee shop at 6 am in morning (typical Andrea).

Inspiration: Much of my inspiration came from the information I gathered during my internship with Nestle Skin Health. I saw a shift in trends when it came to women from the ages of 24 to 40 wanting to have a healthier lifestyle in all aspects of their lives.

THINK NATURAL
I had fun creating this idea for my marketing class! My professor assigned us to create a subscription box idea and back it up with recent research. Best believe I was in a coffee shop for hours designing the idea and PowerPoint!

Inspiration: Mom's and Dad's have a busy schedule, making it difficult for them to get the essentials needed throughout the week. I wanted to create an idea that made it fun and easy for parents.

DIAP AWAY
CARE IN A BOX
For my Customer Insights class, we were assigned to create a marketing deck of a company in the Fort Worth area and give insights on consumer behavior in their specific industry. My team chose Sephora and focused on the beauty industry as a whole. One of the parts I was in charge of was to design a persona of people who typically shop at Sephora. This was done by gathering information from primary and secondary research and implementing the information into the persona. The primary research was done by interviewing students and customers at Sephora. The secondary research was obtained my using Mintel to look deeper into the psychographics and behavior of shoppers. This project highlights my creativity as a marketer and my application skills!

BALLET FRONTIER
CUSTOMER INSIGHTS WRITING ASSIGNMENT
One of the writing assignments for my Customer Insights class was to create a Marketing Strategy for Ballet Frontier, which is non-profit dance company situated in Fort Worth. By applying what I have read in the first two chapters of Contagious, a book written by Jonah Berger, dealing with Social Currency and Trigger, I was able to come up with two recommendations that would lead to increasing ticket sales and donations from art patrons. This particular assignment highlights my writing, creativity, and critical thinking skills. Below is the memo I wrote to the CEO of Curiosity Communications.
